Bacchus British Services repairs European automobiles for motorists in the East Bay, Silicon Valley and Central Valley. The Dublin-based shop works on most models, but it specializes in Jaguars and Land Rovers. “I just have a passion for Jaguars,” explains owner Sheik Bacchus. “If a customer has a dead Jaguar, I’ll revive it. I don’t like to see them out of commission.”
Bacchus British Services' technicians are ASE-certified and trained to provide factory-recommended service, diagnostics and repair work. Mr. Bacchus supervises all the work on the shop floor, and no vehicle leaves without his approval. “I believe in communicating with customers throughout all stages of their repairs,” he says. “I’ll explain why the work is necessary and keep them informed of any problems or delays. Communication and customer service is our primary focus.”
When a customer brings their car to Bacchus British Services with a list of complaints, the shop will prioritize the repairs in order of importance. “Not everything needs to be fixed at once,” says Mr. Bacchus. “I’ll make recommendations as to what needs to be fixed right away and what can be held back for a while. It makes the work more financially manageable.”
Bacchus British Services backs its work with a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty. “Our goal is to eliminate return visits for our customers, except for oil changes,” says Mr. Bacchus. “We want to provide excellent repairs that reduce the need for further service.” For the convenience of its customers, the shop is open for Saturday appointments.
