Maintaining customer satisfaction is a crucial aspect of any business, but it’s even more important for construction companies that have earned the prestigious Diamond Certified award. For JD Building, the key to achieving and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction is simple: show up on time, stay within budget and always keep its promises. “Our approach is pretty simple, but it’s also the best way to keep our clients happy,” says owner Jason Dalk. “We listen closely to their ideas, give them options, and make sure they understand all the costs and procedures before the job begins.”
JD Building has been providing construction services for residential, commercial and government clients in Sonoma, Marin, and Napa Counties since 2009. The company utilizes its design/build capabilities to handle every step of its customers’ remodeling, addition and new construction projects, including tile and hardwood floor installation, foundation work, deck and fence building, and more. “Once we determine what our clients want, we can draw up designs that meet their needs and fit their budget,” adds Mr. Dalk.
Unlike construction companies that are forced to limit their services because of a lack of training or equipment, JD Building has the in-house capabilities to accommodate almost any request. “We even have a workshop where we can build custom cabinetry and alter prefabricated wood pieces to fit clients’ homes,” says Mr. Dalk. “We’re also experienced in stone and metal work, including fireplace mantels, closet organizers, and custom decorative pieces.”
Another distinguishing attribute of JD Building is its dedication to communicating clearly with its clients throughout every step of the construction process, from sending daily emails to providing onsite visits from Mr. Dalk himself. “We want our clients to feel as comfortable as possible during their projects, and keeping in touch is an important part of that,” he says. “Whether it’s through text, email, phone calls or in-person meetings, we always update them on our progress.”
