Survey Comments

University Veterinary Hospital has been in business since 1977 and owned by Jas Mattu, DVM since 2003. The hospital cares mostly for dogs and cats. They routinely do almost everything from birth to geriatric care, making their focus the overall quality of life and disease prevention. Vaccinations, routine checkups, testing, setting bones, nutritional consulting, monitoring of glucose for possible diabetes and liver ailments are other services offered. In addition, they provide emergency services during office hours.

They also offer state-of-the-art dental services, including x-rays, which is standard in veterinary practice. The team of vets and technicians are all very compassionate and extremely competent. In addition, they are good with both the pets and their owners since strong customer service is key to a fine veterinary practice.

COMPANY PHILOSOPHY
“We are different because of the quality of care and quality of the team that we provide. Those factors set us apart. We are also in the forefront of the industry. We are flexible. We try to give the care that a dog or cat deserves. We will do whatever is right for each individual pet. We step back, explain what needs to be explained, but we let the people decide. If we can’t help the pet, we will find a specialist who can. We are a member of an online database where you can enter the problem, issues, and so on, and you get hundred of opinions on it.”
