Survey Comments

Dr. Bruce Stephenson opened the practice in San Leandro in 1977 and Dr. Jason Chen joined the practice in 2002. They provide comprehensive general dental treatment with an emphasis on conservative, minimally invasive procedures, prevention, cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. The doctors are Certified in Invisalign® (“invisible”) orthodontics and are members of the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry and the California and American Dental Associations.

Their newly remodeled office uses computers extensively and is “paperless” so there is never a wait while someone searches for a lost paper chart. Most of the employees have been with the practice for many years; two of them have been with Dr. Stephenson since the practice opened. They are members of the Better Business Bureau and received a very high rating from their patients on the Diamond Certified Survey.

COMPANY PHILOSOPHY
“Most importantly, we try to practice by the Golden Rule, not for any religious reasons because we strongly feel it’s the basis for our exceptional customer service. Each employee constantly strives to treat other people the way they would want to be treated themselves. We realize that there is often more that one way to handle treatment and we try to present alternatives so people can decide for themselves what is best in their situation. We try to provide care in a very comfortable, friendly, informal atmosphere using the latest technology with a gentle touch. Our CAD/CAM machine allows us to fabricate crowns and onlays with the minimal amount of tooth removal and in only a single appointment. We also offer sedation dentistry for people who are apprehensive or who wish to be treated in fewer, longer appointments.”
