The Lumber Baron has been in business for over three decades. Max Slendebroek has spent the last two years working with and managing the business that was founded by his father. The company specializes in highquality redwood for decks, fences, siding, and other indoor and outdoor applications. When the city of San Francisco decided to rebuild the Conservatory of Flowers in January of 2001, The Lumber Baron was the vendor of choice for all of their old growth redwood.

Quality materials are the key to ensuring the beauty and durability of exterior structures, and Lumber Baron buys only from the best mills. They stock over twenty-five different sizes of redwood, surfaced and rough, unseasoned and dry. There’s also an inventory of beams and timbers from six to twenty feet long. If you’re going green, check out their recycled redwood in a variety of lengths.
